The Resident Nanny was founded by a team who understood, firsthand, how difficult it is to find childcare you can truly trust in Lagos. Not just qualified care — care that fits your home, your children, your culture.
We looked at what existed and saw agencies that moved quickly and placed broadly. What Lagos families needed was the opposite: a slower, more intentional process — one that started with listening, not listing.
So we built the agency we wished existed. One that treats placement as a deeply personal act. One that holds its caregivers to a high standard, and holds itself to an even higher one.
We are new — and we are proud of that. Every family we serve gets our full attention. There is no backlog, no formula, no one-size-fits-all shortlist. Just a careful process and a genuine commitment to getting it right.
